Sit, Stay, Fetch

Dogs aren’t always just fun and games and enjoyable time. If you have a dog you must also count of barking, aggression towards other animals or even people, whining, growling, disobedience for commands and the list could go on endlessly. Having a disobedient dog can be an issue to you as an owner or to the others around you. For this reason, you need to take some measures and train your dog to be socially acceptable and to be the way it won’t embarrass you in public. If you try the sit-stay-fetch method to train your dog, you will be amazed how fast your disobedient dog becomes an angel that you want to praise all the time.

Chihuahua Facts And Info

Named after the sovereign state of Chihuahua in Mexico, the Chihuahua is the smallest dog breed in the entire world. The dog’s head resembles the shape of an animal, and the nose (muzzle) protrudes pointedly from the head. Gigantic, rigid ears and big, round eyes distinguish this little dog from its companions in the dog world. The average height is 6 to 10 inches, but the maximum heights can reach 12 to 15 inches. There are two varieties of Chihuahua: the long-haired and short-haired (smooth coat). Oftentimes, the two kinds appear in the same litter, and it’s really only the American Kennel Club that places them in separate categories.

A Different Kind Of Pet - An Introduction To Chinchillas

When choosing a family pet, many people automatically think of a cat or a dog. Those who do not enjoy having a pet running around the house all day, might think of rabbits, guinea pigs or hamsters. But if you want a different kind of furry friend, I suggest looking into adding a chinchilla to your family.

Chinchillas are members of the rodent family. They originate from the mountains in South America. They are especially known for their soft fur, which they keep in excellent shape by rolling around in sand.

Choosing To Get Your First Cat

Cats do make wonderful pets as they are not as noisy
as dogs, are more independent, and do not require as
much care. Cats also adapt well to indoor living. They
are easy to train to use a litter box and they will groom
themselves. The greatest benefit to owning a cat is the
love and attention that they give you.

You do however will want to first decide if a cat is
really for you. Be sure that you are not allergic to
them or that your friends and family are not also
allergic to cats. It will make it difficult to give up your
precious new kitty once you have grown attached to
it and then find out that you cannot be around cats
due to an allergy and have to give them away.

The Oranda Goldfish - An Interesting Fish For Your Aquarium

If you want a fancy looking goldfish that has an unusual characteristic and you might consider the Oranda goldfish for your aquarium. This fish has a beautiful metallic scaled appearance and comes in a variety of colors from yellow to bright red as well as an interesting chocolate color and a pure white with a red cap.

The interesting characteristic of this goldfish is that they have a bumpy growth on the top of their head which develops when they are a couple of years old. This growth is called a wen and is an unusual, but somewhat appealing characteristic. While this differentiates the Orlando from other goldfish he is similar in many other ways including his paired anal fans and dorsal fin.
