Nurse Shoes, Comfort Matters Most

Shoes form an integral part of our wardrobe and lifestyle. No matter what kind of work we do, the most important criteria for shoes is that, they should be comfortable for the wearer. This holds especially true if you are a busy professional and your work demands that you have to be on your feet for a long time. This becomes all the more important if you are in the medical profession and working as a nurse. The professionals need to make sure that, along with their clothes, the nurse shoes that they buy and use for their work, are comfortable and does not cause any strain on their feet. Those who work in medical profession or similar profession need to work for long hours and most of the times the working hours are erratic. Running and standing, catering to patients constantly, can really take a toll on your health and it is your duty to ensure that the uniform you wear and the shoes you wear do not cause any amount of discomfort to you, in doing your work efficiently.

War And Peace - You Cant Have One Without The Other

It appears as if war has always existed. Even throughout the
universe, past-life researchers (going way back), including
our own research and visions, report various forms of
controversy, discord, and aggression.

Militarily, economically, psychically, or other ways, there is
always risk of attack and nothing will change that. You can’t
just try to think only positive thoughts and “increase the light
within all life everywhere,” to “stop war,” and conflict, as
some advocate.

In the beginning of Earth’s recorded history, disputes were
usually over basic necessities like good water and soil and
hunting rights, then over commodities like gold and silver,
and also land. The most common topic of disagreement, then
and now, is religion, and it’s likely to continue.

Honesty In Marriage

Humans are not particularly honest creatures. We pretend we are, but really in the end, when we pile up all the individual little “I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings” lies, we aren’t brazenly honest at all. Is this a bad thing? Is being honest with your spouse 100% of the time a really good idea? Aren’t there times when we shouldn’t spill our guts, not even to our spouse? Or should we pride ourselves on being completely honest all the time no matter what? Unfortunately, honesty isn’t as black and white of a topic as it should be.

The Answer Is In The Sun

A massive amount of solar power is delivered daily to the Earth in the form of sunrays, which provides energy for all forms of life on Earth, influences the ocean’s currents, the wind and prevailing atmospheric conditions. The solar power that is needed to perform these tasks represents only a fraction of the daily quota of available energy, the remainder goes mostly unused.

Solar energy is a free commodity that can be harnessed and converted into a range of valuable products. Because of the depletion of known reserves and the ever increasing costs of conventional energy sources, solar power is becoming more readily accepted as an alternative energy source. Energy from the sun is renewable, sustainable, clean and efficient and in most cases, the solar panel and installation charges, are the only costs involved.

Another 50 Billion Dollars For Iraq

I woke up this morning thinking about Iraq. Last night I learned President Bush has asked for another 50 billion dollars to cover the cost of the Iraq war. Some news agencies report the cost of the war is now at 3 billion dollars a week.

How much more suffering can be inflicted on the Iraqi people for another 50 billion? How many more American soldiers will be killed while spending that 50 billion? Who is going to get that 50 billion dollars? What is not being done in this country because another 50 billion is going to someone waiting in Iraq?

Catching Lost Water By Rainwater Harvesting And Construction Of Small Dams

Pakistan is projected to become the world’s fifth-largest country by 2030, with a population somewhere between 230 and 260 million people. This projected spurt in population is alarming Islamabad policymakers, if for no other reason than the additional water requirement this will mean. Already the lowest in Southasia, over the next two decades Pakistan’s per capita availability of water is expected to drop by more than 37 percent – from 1100 to 700 cubic metres per person per year.
