While you can always use free web servers and free web blogs, it’s still best to have your own website with its own domain name.
3. Know your products. You have to familiarize yourself with the products that you’re selling in behalf of the affiliate marketing programs. You can only sell them well if you know what they are, what they do, what their uses are and how your potential customers can benefit from them.
4. Promote your website. Increasing your website’s traffic can help generate interest and sales. Promote by using tri-media, advertising, link exchanges and article marketing.
5. Come up with a great brochure or email flyer about your products or website. Send these out via email or post them in various message boards and electronic groups. Include your contact details and try to request the email recipients to forward or share the information with their own contacts. This can help direct traffic to your website.
