Compassionate Humans
Compassion, can literally, show us what humans are really all about. We see it in the bedside, vigilance of a sick spouse, and care for his or her partner. Mother Teresa, in her compassion for the sick lepers, she endlessly cared for them without regard to herself. The unending care, we see, from doctor to patient, under the direst of the circumstances. Aids has affected a vast number of people. We see tireless individuals, caring, showing compassion, that most of us admire. The homeless, we find individuals, tiredly working, show compassion, in times when most of us would have thrown in the towel a long time ago.
We see the act of compassion, around us everyday, individuals, participating in acts of compassion, without regards for their own safety. They develop blindness, to what is transpiring around them. They only see the immediate situation, their compassion kicks in. Regardless of criticism, badgering, scolding, they continue with there act of compassion. Be what ever you want to call it, stubbornness, doggedness, reliantly pursuing individuals, seemed to be at there best when they show their compassionate side.
How best can we as individuals describe a compassionate person? A question, deserving the best answer we can give. A person driven, to attend selflessly to the needs of their fellow human. We still need compassion it is worthy of our attention, we are compelled to be in anticipation. It is the very essence of our being the reward is inner joy. We as humans are thankful, sometimes with emotion.
