What A Surprise To Discover That Not Everybody Is Clamouring To Welcome And Receive Jesus Christ!

This can come as quite a surprise when we discover that not everybody is clamouring to welcome and receive Jesus Christ. Let me amplify and explain and do check out the facts as we have them in the Gospel of Luke. Leaders in particular so need to see this because this can prevent those in positions of leadership from being overly disappointed.

We are in Luke Chapter 9 and at verse 51, where Jesus Christ has resolutely and determinedly set His face to go to Jerusalem. In obedience to the Will of the Father - Jesus allows Himself to be crucified - and killed - laying down His Life - knowing this - that His Loving Faithful Father would raise Him up from the grave. No man took His Life from Him. Jesus laid it down.

This man, Paul appears in another courtroom, and we are given quite a descriptive insight as to how he acts and behaves before his accusers.

Reach for your New Testament and check out the detail in Chapter 24.

Paul, on trial in Caesarea, by the Mediterranean Sea, is invited to reply to the accusations which have been made against him. Here we see a man of God who has a clear conscience in the presence of God, and before his accusers.

Magnify Coaching Skills - 10 Hallmarks Of Coaching Excellence

Robert Hargrove suggests that “masterful” coaching involves challenging and supporting people to be extraordinary leaders, as well as to achieve extraordinary levels of performance (Hargrove, p. 12). When I have asked participants of leadership and/or coaching workshops to think back to the individual who had the most impact in their lives, inevitably, participants remember teachers, coaches, family members, friends, mentors and/or managers whom they felt gave them a tremendous amount of support and understanding, while at the same time, challenged them to achieve levels of performance which they did not previously realize they were capable of.

Recipe For Highly Effective Teams

All too often, companies waste their hard earned profits on team building efforts that result in little, or no, improvement in performance. If the only results the leadership wants to see are to have fun and spend some cash, then that is perfectly fine. However, if the leadership desires highly effective teams, then they will need to follow the recipe for teamwork.

As with most recipes, it is recommended you adhere to each step at first. After getting some experience, it will be safe to adjust ingredients to the team’s personal taste.
